Originally from Nova Scotia, Adrian came to Calgary as an environmental and community planner with a consulting firm. After taking a course in permaculture, Adrian completely shifted his career into permaculture design and education by starting up his own company called Big Sky Permaculture. Adrian has taught numerous introductory courses in permaculture, and has undertaken several permaculture garden installations around Calgary. Adrian has also started and managed the Calgary Urban Harvest Project, which has turned into one of the largest fruit rescue initiatives in Canada.
