Community Potluck!

A MidWinter MidContinent Meal:

Imagine a gathering of friends in 1940, it is mid winter, in the cold middle of the continent.  There is no such thing as flown in mangoes and fresh shrimp.  What could you bring to a pot luck meal?  Well, we are all going to be eating that way again in 2040, and it can be fine!  Mainly local with a bit of other precious extra that didn't need to be flown in (think ... chocolate chili with mainly Alberta ingredients... you can't do that though because that's what I am bringing!)

Please bring both your pot luck offering and your recipe on a card.  We hope this can be the beginning of a Calgary Permaculture Cookbook - open source at it's best.

Although this is free we recommend registering since there are definite limits to the size of the hall.  First come of course.
