Permablitz!
The Blitz network was originally created by Dan Palmer and Adam Grub from the Melbourne Permaculture community group as a way of encouraging Melbourne to embrace edible landscaping while building community at the same time. One of the key features of the original Blitz Network was its open source platform. Everything created for the network was licensed under the Creative Commons Licensing agreement which meant that the world could take the idea and propagate it at will. The Permablitz Network has been extremely successful in Melbourne with hundreds of gardens converted by the community while creating a strong resilient community at the same time.
For more information on the original Permablitz project check out this site here. For more information on Adam and Dan you can take a look at there website Very Edible Gardens here.
